Over the past 20 years Ella Jones has taught Acting, Drama, Speech & Drama, Public Speaking, Communication Skills, and GCSE Drama in various schools in Staffordshire, and has also produced and directed many productions. She is also an accomplished actor, presenter and voice-over artist with much professional experience.
Ella Jones graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class Honours degree in Drama in July 2004. She then started a PGCE with Manchester Metropolitan University before being offered her first teaching role. Most recently, she has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Shakespeare with The Shakespeare Institute – University of Birmingham in 2022. She is a full member of the Society of Teachers of Speech & Drama, has an Enhanced DBS Certificate, undertakes Level 1 Safeguarding and Child Protection Training (KCSIE) annually and has completed and passed a basic First Aid course.
Ella has been a LAMDA Examiner (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) since 2009. She is a Team Leader on the Examiner Panel and an Examiner Trainer. She is also the LAMDA Centre Representative for Stoke on Trent/Staffordshire.
